About WISE

WISE is a not for profit association focussed on community renewable energy projects. WISE is wanting to help the community to take responsibility for its energy and carbon future.

It is currently involved in the development of a community owned small wind park (2-3 turbines).

WISE is also developing WISE Greenpower - a community green power scheme which will enable local community renewable energy associations to generate modest revenue from the sale of green power within their shire.

WISE is an initiative of the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group which also sponsors community events focussed on climate change peak oil and how to live more sustainably.
