Events WISE is keen to attract new members in support of local renewable energy projects and organises events throughout the year. WISE co-hosts the "Movies that Matter" series with the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group and organises public forums and speakers. WISE events provide an opportunity to learn of domestic and community scale energy solutions and are also a great chance to meet other like minded locals interested in climate change and the environment. ovies that Matter are held on the 1st Thursday of the month (excluding January) at the Woodend Neighbourhood House (47 Forest St. Woodend) from 8pm. Movies featured are usually recent feature films or documentaries that are focussed on environmental issues. Attendees are encouraged to stay for supper afterwards.
